safety essay writing

Health refers to the absence of any form of illness and is the well-being state. The definition can mean so many things, depending on the perspective from which it is looked at. However, the key element in it is that when something is said to be healthy, there must be well-being, and there should be no sign of illness. In the context of organizations, healthy and safe organizations are those that do not harm employees in any way; and are free from illness. The presence of health in such organizations is demonstrated by the capability of growth that those organizations have; in addition to, the ability of the organization to adapt to different challenges. The first aspect of health and safety in organizations has to do with occupational health and safety. The ILO states that employers are required to protect their workers from disease, sickness, or injury which may arise from their jobs. ILO indicates that over two million workers lose their lives each year due to work related diseases and accidents. A staggering 160 million suffer from diseases related to their work; while another 270 million people face accidents related to their work each year. The accidents are both fatal and non-fatal accidents. While it is difficult to put a number on the value of lives lost; or on the loss caused to the workers and their families, the ILO estimates that the world’s annual GDP declines by 4 percent annually as a result of lack of occupational health and safety. To put this into perspective, there is loss of skilled labor, employers facing very high early retirement costs, payment of very high insurance premiums as a result of work-related diseases and accidents. Nonetheless, these are tragedies that can be prevented if the proper standards are implemented. The other aspect of health and safety in organizations is the provision of good working conditions, which enables employees.

Everyday many people are involved in road accidents. Some are killed. Many more are injured or maimed. So it is important for us to learn to use the roads properly and safely. No sane person would like to be involved in an accident. As the roads are very busy nowadays, we should be very careful when crossing one. It is safer to use a pedestrian crossing or an overhead bridge whenever one is available. Never cross a road by dashing across it. That is inviting trouble. If there are no crossings, then we must look carefully right and left and cross only when it is safe to do so. Some of us take the bus to school. It is important that we do not try to get on or off a bus while it is still moving. I tried to get on a moving bus once. It dragged me a short distance and nearly ran over me. I was lucky to escape with only some scratches on my legs. Also we must not fool around while in the bus. A suddenly lurch can send us knocking our heads against something hard. Using a bicycle can be dangerous too. We must pay attention on the road and never cycle too far out to the middle of the road. We must obey all traffic rules. Also we must make sure our bicycles are in good condition with working brakes, lights etc. These are some things we can do to avoid accidents. However there is no guarantee that we will never be involved in one. The important thing is to stay alert at all times while using the roads. We must know what is happening around us. In that way we can take necessary action to avoid danger whenever we see one. Road safety is very much up to how we use the roads. Use them carefully and we may be able to use them for a long time. Use them carelessly and we may never be able to use them again. My tooth hurt through the night. I had to take a painkiller to lessen the pain. Worst of all I did not get a wink of sleep the whole night through. The next morning. I told my.
First of all, I don't like the term safety school or back-up (because who wants to go to their back-up?) but I used it as the title because that's probably what you Googled. I prefer the term likely admittance. Anyway, here's the question today:If Claremont-McKenna (CMC) is your top choice, it’s easy to sound like it. You simply gush about all the reasons why you love it, trim it to 200 words, and you’re done, right? But what if you’re writing a “Why us” statement for a school that isn’t your top choice? How do you get excited about that school? How do you fake it?Tip 1: Don't fake it.What do I mean? If a school is on your list and you're not excited about it, why is it on your list? Take it off. Or, better yet: Do your research and get excited about the school. Chances are, you may not be excited about a school because you don't know much about it yet. Try this: think of a school you're not excited about applying to but probably will, and write down on a piece of paper everything you know about it. (Not a ton, eh?) See, here's something you may not have been told. Finding a school that “fits” you is an active process, not a passive one. That’s one reason I appreciate and am an advocate for the “Why us” essay--you get to (read: have to) research and find out if the school you’re pledging your allegiance to is actually one that you want to pledge your allegiance to. So get researching! (For research resources go here.)If, once you’ve researched for a while, you’re still not super excited about the school you’re writing the essay for, ask yourself: do I even want to apply here? Maybe you don’t. Maybe you need some new schools to get excited about. (For resources on finding schools go here.)But what if you’re set on applying to a school but you’re just not, I don’t know, feeling it? Try this:TIP 2: Write your “Why Us” statement for a school you are actually excited.
by vijay (alappey) The only way to improve the safety on roads is to implement stricter punishment for driving offences?Do you agree or disagree? What is your opinion? There are many factor which influence the safety on roads, even in the recent years roads are turning to be unsafe place for the people. In fact, driving offence is one of the reasons for unsafety roads, but implementing stringent punishment alone would not enhance safety on roads. To begin with, better road conditions would have a great impact on road safety. This would mean, certain road conditions like potholes, narrow and curved roads would cause serious problem even to disciplened drivers to lose control over the vehicle, which may lead them to road accidents. In such cases, stricter punishment is a illogical idea to implementMoreover, optimal traffic control system has an ideal role in maintaing safety on roads. To be clear, adequate number of traffic signals, signboards and police officers would have significant effect on road safety, where they guide and control the vehicle by basic traffic rules. Therefore, the chance for even rash driver to commit accident has a little chance. To cite an example, studies point out that, country which has proper control system has great control over breach driving. So, the idea of imposing of tough punishment for reckless drivers on roads safety has futile benefits. To conclude, from the global perspective, stricter punishment alone would not assure the safty on roads. In my opinion, rather than finding punishments for the problem, it is better to cut down the reasons for unsafe roads. Better road condition and proper traffic control system would ensure the safety on roads.***Please comment below on this Essay on Improving Road Safety in order to help the IELTS candidate improve their score.
