There are no two people who have the exactly same personalities. Everyone in this world is unique in their own ways. One’s personality is something that does not change which makes one unique and special. As for me, I am a responsible and sympathetic person, however, I am a self-centered person as well who may have made enemies with a lot of people. I am a pretty responsible person and I do what I am supposed to do. As now, I am a student in school, therefore I do my homework every single day and study for what I have learned at home. I also pay attention in class most of the time as well. Besides that, I organize my work as well. At home, I am a child, so I respect my parents and help them to do house works, such as doing laundries and washing dishes. I clean my room once a week as well because that is my responsibility as being a child. I also help out friends and classmates when they need help. I give out advices and suggestions to them when they need support and help as well. Generally, I can say that I am a responsible person who does my duties. Besides being a responsible person, I am also a person who is sympathetic. I have been a sympathetic person when I was really young. For example, when I walk on the street and saw some handicapped people or vagrants, I would help them by giving them money or whatever things that I can do for them to have a better living. When I see animals without a home, I feel sorry for them and I might buy some food for them to eat. I used to donate money to the charities for orphans with my family as well. I feel sympathetic to many people in the world and therefore I do something to help them have a better living. Even though I am a sympathetic person, however, I am a.
Image Credit: Susan R., Iselin, NJ I walk through the doors of my high school as I watch hundreds of kids pass by. Millions of teenagers just like me nationwide attend school as well, so what makes me so special? What am I doing to stand out? I would hope the answer is obvious to those who know me. I smile every time I am recognized as the Christian girl, so innocent and outspoken. It is an accomplishment to know I do not have to tell someone how I stand because my actions are speaking for me. I attend the Bible study at my school, and Church regularly. I stand out from the crowd by saying no to the simplest things. My peers may say im “too innocent” because I choose not to cuss, “try” alcohol, or go too far with a boy. However, I know I am not a saint. I make mistakes, sometimes I make the wrong decisions, I get mad and frustrated and slip a few words I should not have, but that is what makes me human. No one is perfect, that is exactly why I turn to God to save me of my sins. What makes Christianity different from so many other religions? Christianity is the only religion that teaches you cannot earn your way to heaven. The Bible states, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one can get to the Father except through Me (John 14:6).” Many believe you can get to heaven simply from your good works. Well consider this, the Bible says everyone will face Him after death to be judged (2 Corinthians 5:10), if you were standing before God how would you prove you deserve to be in heaven? Let us say He told you to get into heaven you needed 1,000 points. You might say, “Well I did help my mom clean the kitchen once without her telling me to.” However, keep in mind that God is omniscient, which means He is all knowing. In response He might say, “Alright there’s one, but you also hit your brother the same day.” Really, there is no way that you can end up getting those.
Essay writing is one of the many ways a child is able to express himself or herself. However, it can be difficult to persuade a child to write without whining. I am going to chicken out and use this a place to honor the people I feel are special in my life. Iam special, yer special it is true. I will say one thing about myself, I do have a six inch long toungue, and can do a great impression of Gene Simmons of Kiss fame. That said=I want to honor my Father, Nicholas Shevchuk. He was athletic, a talented story teller, and gifted artist. He was gooood lookin', tall, and funny. He was a cancerian with a deep soul. This lifetime was just too much for him. He committed suicide at 28. He was much too young to leave this life. May he walk the Isle of Apples and learn from the ancestors!Next, my Grandmother Ora Mae, who taught me to wash my face in the morning dew on Mayday, and be careful of the Faeries. She taught me courage and realism. That You can love a rich man as well as a poor man. and The Way to mans heart is through his stomach. Well, she never heeded the first bit of advice, and neither did I. She instilled in me a love of the word. I learned to read sitting on her lap, pouring over Dr. Seuss. She made it clear that a woman must have a job, a skill or a trade. That no prince charming will save you, and we had to have an education.Rely on yourself! Proud of her Scottish ancestry, she gave me a sense of roots. Scots Wa Hae!My Mom, who I honor and respect. I love her more than she knows. She is a talented artist, amazing leader, and administator. She taught me that I should respect all religeons, an seek my own path. That no one owns the patent on spirituality. She was a single mother when being a divorced woman was looked upon by many as being shameful. Even in 1970, she was denied rental of a house becasue she was , (gasp of horror) a DIVORCED WOMAN!!!!! She worked fulltime as a nurse for 30 years, and retired last year. She can sing like Doris Day, dance better that Ginger Rogers, and is a beautiful Leo woman. I know.
