Menu for Sandwichman Length: 1134 words (3.2 double-spaced pages) Rating: Red (FREE)   - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Menu for Sandwichman Sandwichman is the name for our sandwich restaurant. Sandwichman was started by four college students at Iowa State University: Rajane Patel, Ashlyn Bloom, Rachel Te, and Agus Leonardo. We decided to open this sandwich restaurant at 1000 Duff Avenue here in Ames, Iowa. The basic colors for our sandwich restaurant are orange and yellow. My responsibilities in building this sandwich restaurant are designing and preparing the menu. The Menu is considered to be the most important aspect in order to build a restaurant because a menu tells what the restaurant offers. In order to create a menu for this restaurant, several items need to be considered, such as: prices, type of ingredients, and the nutritional facts for the sandwiches we offered. I have done some research about the menu from other sandwich restaurants. In this paper, I would like to discuss all these items. Prices are one of the most important considerations for people who want to buy a sandwich. In order to determine the right prices for our sandwiches, we have to know our targeting customers first. In this case, the majority of our targeting customers are students and people who are living in the lower economic class. Because of these targeting customers, the price for a sandwich in our restaurant is relatively cheaper than in other sandwich restaurants, such as: Subway, Jimmy John's, etc. Moreover, our sandwich restaurant is built as a low-profit restaurant. The price for all sandwiches in our restaurant will be .75. They all have the same price because it will be easier for the internal operation of the restaurant, especially the cashier. Moreover, having the same price enables the customers to pay for any sandwich more.

The best restaurant to go to in Altoona is The Olive Garden. This peaceful place has the most delicious food for all the Italian food lovers out there. The Olive Garden is the most exquisite place to eat and is truly the finest restaurant in town. Every time I walk in to the Olive Garden I obtain the best feeling. No matter how many times I come, I always love to observe what is around me. Each and every comforting smile the employees have on their faces and the soft Italian music playing, always makes me feel relaxed. When I breathe in the aroma of the Italian food, it always reminds me of how hungry I am. The uniquely textured walls produce a smooth yet flowing look. It is almost as I am in a famous building in Italy. The viny plants that clasp to the walls ever so freely give it a natural appearance. The marble tiled floor beneath me gives the restaurant a clean yet warm appearance. The host’s kind and gentle eyes look at their customers and politely ask for the number of the party attending and the smoking preference they prefer. They have soft cushion seats that let my body sink right down in them. I always notice the quiet atmosphere around me. This makes everyone’s mood ever so noticeable. The Olive Garden always seems to have the most friendly customers. The windows that surround the tables present an open feeling, almost as if I was eating outside. When the food is brought, I can always feel the chilled salad plate being handed to me. The crispy garden salad that is lightly coated with ranch dressing and not to mention those thin, round, red onions that I particularly dislike. Somewhere around me there always lay a deep burgundy color glass of the Red Wine, or a soft pale crystal like glass of White.
Whenever I travel abroad, I try to eat out as much as possible in order to get an idea of the national cuisine of the country or province I am visiting to be able to delve deeper into the local culture. Over the years of travelling around the world, I have been to a great number of unusual and interesting restaurants that impressed me. If I were to make a list of the most memorable local restaurants and cafes that I have visited abroad over the past 12 years, New Zealand’s Yellow Treehouse would definitely make it to the top of the list. This restaurant is located in the woods of Warkworth, about a 40-minute drive north of Auckland. The description of the place is in its name – a wooden tree house built ten meters above the ground on a Redwood tree. If you think it is nothing special, you are wrong. The restaurant is unusual looking and does not resemble anything I have seen before. From the ground, it looks like a small onion-shaped knag in the middle of the tree trunk that is softly illuminated with orange and yellow lights. It also has a narrow wooden bridge leading to it that connects the restaurant with a bunch of the neighboring trees that are also illuminated. The place looks particularly pretty at night, and the walk to the café by the bridge is really something!Inside, the place feels quite different from what it looks like outside. The seemingly fragile construction made of thin and flexible wooden bars, bent in the middle to form a dome shaped construction, is cozy and spacious inside. What I liked the most about the construction is probably the fact that not only is it located in the woods, far from the roads, city noises and smog, surrounded by nothing but the trees and the local fauna, it is in fact built entirely of natural materials. The whole construction is authentic, simple in its interior and exterior design, yet obviously well thought-out. The.
Descriptive Essay: Japanese Restaraunt I was driving down the road back from college and I was feeling very hungry. I couldn’t even think properly, all I wanted to do was to gobble down Japanese food. I could almost taste the Cung Pow chicken and the smell the steaming rice while I was driving my car. As I parked in the parking lot and got out of my car I could clearly see the restaurant. There was a big sign outside slightly tilting to the left as it hung over the entrance and boldly read Sunami. From the windows outside I could see inside and it didn’t seem to be all that crowded. At the entrance of Sunami there was bronze statute of a pudgy monk sitting crossed legged with his belly building out and with a huge smile on his face. Just as I stepped inside Sunami my ears filled with sound of the booming noises of the costumers. The people were obviously sounded like they were having a good time with all the laughing and charter. I took a seat at my usual booth, I didn’t even need to look at the menu. I was approached by a waitress who had the most sweet sounding voice I had ever heard. After I had placed my order and I sat at the booth waiting for my food. I took a sip of my water with a slice of lemon, I then took a deep breath and the most wonderful yet familiar aroma filled my nostrils. I couldn’t place it but it smelt a little like the Japanese dish I usually order Cung Pow Chicken. I kept taking deep breaths and turning my head to see where this delicious aroma was emanating. Sure enough there it was my platter of chicken and rice being brought in by the waitress and it was mine to devour. The wonderful sounding waitress laid down the food and reminded me to leave some room for desert. Right then desert was the last thing on my mind, all I wanted was just eat. I put the fist morsel of Cung Pow in my mouth and wow it tasted GREAT. The salt wasn’t too much and.
