essay on tourist places in india

India is a land of beautiful monuments, of beaches, of temples and mosques, of ash smeared sadhus and above all of wonderful Taj. It is a land of Himalayas which has enveloped all the beauty within itself, giving rise to the mighty rivers like Indus, Ganga and Yamuna and their tributaries. It is a land whose fame and exotic riches turned travellers from around the world which drew Alexander the Great to its plains besides the great Mughals. It is a land of romance, mysticism and wisdom. The tourism potential of India is vast and it attracts a large number of international tourists. We can start with Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. It is known as the Pink City. Some of the not-to-be missed places of tourist interest are the City Palace Museum, the City Place itself, the Jantar Mantar, an 18th century observatory and the legendary Hawa Mahal, which is really not a palace but an intricate facade of hundreds of ajry windows. India offers a lot more in the caves of Ajanta and Ellora, the temples of Khajuraho, the Qutab Minar, the Red Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, the Victoria Memorial, Lingaraja Temple, the Gateway of India, the magnificent churches and dashing beaches in Goa all are India's unique gift to the world. The hill resorts like Ooty and Kodaikanal, Mussoorie, Nainital, Almora, Shimla, Kulu and Manali are other beauties of India. Mussoorie offers some panoramic views of the Himalyas. As popular as Mussoorie is Nainital a sparkling beautiful lake resort in the Kumaon Hills 65 kms. From Nainital is the town Almora. Perched on 5 k.m. ridge this hill station has a majestic view of the snow clad Himalayas. These are the great attractions for the tourists. But the Taj Mahal, the symbol of Mughal romance, has no parallel. It is such a jewel that atracts a bulk of tourists everyday. Its architectural perfection gave it a place as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Today.
Visit to Taj Mahal : There are many beautiful and worth seeing historical places in India. But the Taj Mahal of Agra is the most beautiful of all. It is a dream in marble. My friend and I visited that in the last summer vacations. The vision cast a spell over me. It stood in unique majesty. What a fine lay out indeed! This is what one could say on the spot. It looked white on all sides. The green tufts of glass and the green shoots of hot Cyprus trees adorned its majestic beauty. Nature’s beauty made the ground of the building look all the more beautiful. We went down the staircase. We found the graves of the king and the queen under the dome in a dark chamber. Multicolored pieces of glass and couplets form the Quran decorated the side walls. The four minarets stood as watch men at each of the main building. A full moonlight followed the next day. We visited the Taj again that night. Its beauty smiled in the silvery light of the moon. It was a memorable scene. My joy knew no bounds when I saw its reflections in the river Jamuna. Clear picture of marble could be seen. I closed my eyes and opened them again to find it was a reality. Nay! It was to a dream. As god is there to bestow nature’s beauty, man’s hand is there to create wonderful pieces of art and architecture. How could man be so perfect in working out the minute details of art? I am full of wonder even now. And I can still see the beauty of the Taj with my mind’s eye, if at all I desire so. Wheat a great beauty man could create! The Taj Mahal was built about three hundred and fifty years ago by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, in memory of his beloved queen, Mumtaj. From Visit to Taj Mahal To HOME PAGE.
This is my essay for my school article. I'll be highly obliged if anyone helps. The busy city life often abandon's one from the nature's inevitable beauty. Eventhough me & my family do not get quality of time to spend with each other but we enjoy each and every minute we get to it's fullest.Once I visited Hyderabad in India with my parents and grandparents. Later my cousins joined us there. I cherish those memories and time spent with my family till date. I visited and saw many beautiful places. I visited a lake known as 'Husain Sagar'. It was such a beauty with a statue of ' Gautam Buddha' built in the midst which enhanced it's beauty. The city is decorated with trees and greeneries which adds to it's freshness and makes the climate very easily adaptable. The food is also very different in the city and also the nature of people which is very humble and sweet. I visited a garden called 'Lubini Park' which had been really adventurous not only for me but also for all those people who were with me. It was indeed a memorable visit. I visited it with my uncle and cousins. It was an unplanned visit which saved our lives. We weren't to visit the park but the lazer show instead, but changed our minds because my uncle insisted. It was only then we came to know about the blast fiasco, which had occured the exact moment when we changed our minds to Lubini Park at the eleventh hour, when we returned back home on a news channel. Ofcourse it was a stroke of luck which saved our lives. One more adventure which I had in the same town when I guided my grandpa home. Actually it was a fine morning in Hyderabad, me and my grandfather started for a walk since my grandfather loves to have walks. It was a indeed a wonderful walk with him as he told me his old stories and experiences. We enjoyed the cold breeze and the misty air. But soon in our amusement we lost our way and got confused. The.
