who i want to become essay

Prompt: What would you do with your wild and precious life? Untitled:  What do I want to do with my wild and precious life?  I am only human with many moments to live in this life. In this world, one has many choices, options and decisions. Growing up one learns and embraces right from wrong, but one is never satisfied with what he has. As young adults, one reaches a point in where one is destined to find the path that will lead one to that wild and precious life we all pursue. I am now at that point. If I had one shot to this wild and precious life; I will be that one person with the spontaneous, free, unique and authentic spirit fulfilled with the knowledge to be my best and accomplish every single thing I want to make in this precious journey. I want to be the one to go out there and discover the cure for cancer or the next medicine to ease the pain of a dying patient. Have the comfort and mobility of doing whatever I wish to accomplish. Create the magic of having my own family while enjoying all of those little things this journey brings along with it.  To serve my country, that has given me the freedom and opportunities that I could not get anywhere else. As a young adult and human that I am, I have many plans, hopes and dreams for a future. As a student, all these narrows down to one thing, which is to be the best student I could be at the college of my choice. I constantly hear many of my peers complain about their colleges. Their excuses are “I was chosen by them, how dare to say no” I often respond “No. You chose them and by all of their means than they chose you.” Only one has the ability to pick and choose what they want for their future. I want to be the best student I can be and still be happy with my choice, therefore I choose Pacific Lutheran University. I am convinced that at PLU I will achieve the skills necessary to become successful in the field of.

Check for spelling errors – Make sure to proofread your writing, then ask a parent, teacher, or guidance counselor to look it over for spelling or grammar errors. Bad Examples (complete with errors.) Bad Example 1 To Whom It May Concern: I am interested in Illinois State University. I was glad to read that you like me know that student motivation and academic preparation are not fully revealed by a student’s high school transcript or by standardized tests. Highschool bored me, simply it was not challenging, highschool is no longer an institution which can provide an education sufficient to meet the challages of the modern economic situation. A highschool diploma is no longer a document which alone will allow an indivual to attain a job which will support a family. Also, the SAT is no longer a test which divides those who have studied and have made the effort to achieve, from those who bumble through school. At the point books were published on how to pass the SAT, it simply became another test which doesn’t prove anything definitely. Because of my viewpoint on highschool and the SAT I did not exert myself on either. I was reserving myself for college. College is the difference which makes the difference. Of two people applying for the same job, similar in everyway except for the fact that one is the holder of a college degree and the other is not, the degree holder is far more likely to get the job. Further, college is where I will learn the knowledge and.
