The Princeton University Archives at the Mudd Manuscript Library is the repository for Ph.D. dissertations and Master's theses. The University Archives partners with ProQuest to publish and distribute Princeton University dissertations beyond the campus community. See Mudd Library's policies and procedures for submitting your Doctoral Dissertation or Master's Thesis. Senior thesis submission to Mudd Library is done by departmental administrators. Beginning with the class of 2013, Mudd will collect only digital copies of senior theses. See their submission guidelines for more information.

Dissertations written from 1997 forward are available full text. The database includes citations to dissertations from 1861 to those accepted last semester. Citations for dissertations and master's theses published from 1980 forward have abstracts. Simple bibliographic citations are available for dissertations dating from 1637. Dissertations & Theses @ Princeton University Citations and abstracts of only Princeton University dissertations. Princeton users may download for free the full text of dissertations published after 1996. This is a subset of Proquest Digital Dissertations.
